ILR with Simple Caution Delayed

Dear members, I have made an ILR Set(o) application under skilled worker (5-year) route via super priority option on 7th of September, 2022. Next day, I got an email stating that unfortunately they can’t make a decision within one working day but they expect to make a decision asap. I was given a simple caution by local police in early May, 2022. I declared it in my application. Do you think this is the main reason of the delay? Actually, application form asks me to put only conditional, unspent cautions, warnings etc. However, I did declare my simple caution in spirit of openness. I believe I have no other problem in my application. Any ideas? How long it might take? Many thanks…

Difficult to know, if that was the only thing you ever received and you declared it, It would say it's unlikely (but I don't know the full story!)

As you had paid for super priority and it's been over a month, could you get your MP to follow up? Did you attempt any follow up yourself since the email from them?

The reason of simple caution I had a serious argument with my ex-fiancé. She was drunk and called the police. Police gave me simple caution. I will contact the MP. Thanks for your reply.

Refusal is discretionary in case of an unspent caution. An argument is not serious, so you should be ok

You should check if you are eligible for a.refund given the unreasonably long processing time for a super priority application.

Do you think Home Office would still prioritise the decision on my ILR application due to super priority service?
I am nervous if it would take time like two or three months? I am really hoping that it will not take 6-months to hear from Home Office like a standard service. Many thanks.

I assume they get back to you when the details of the caution are reviewed. Do not believe that should take very long

You can ask for the refund after you got the decision. Hope in a quick resolution.
