ILR - 2 addresses?

Hi, I am on a 5 years route Spouse visa and planning to apply ILR this December (exact 5 years)

My partner cannot meet financial requirement so I’ll sponsor myself. However, my P60 and Payslip show a different address where myself and husband live.

I’ve taken a new job offer since last year and due to long hour of drive, I’ve decided to rent a room in London where my job is (I work hybrid 3 days in office) and 4 days I go back to live with my husband (Birmingham).

My question: If I sponsor myself by providing P60 and Payslips (second address) but my bank statement and other bills are with husband address (the main address) - Would that be a problem in getting ILR ?

Do I need to write a statement explaining why my P60 and Payslip address is different than my husband?

Thank you in advance 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It's no big deal. a lot of folks live in different counties and work in a different one. This was happening even before COVID-19 hit.

TBH, it always better to sponsor yourself if you meet the requirement by yourself.

There's a part in the ILR form that asks where you work and the address. At this point, it would be evident that you work in London.

For rest of mind, you can state that in the form if you wish, but you honestly don't have to.
