Tourist Visa while waiting for ILR

Hello. I am waiting for my ILR but I'm keen on applying for a Japan tourist visa this December. Is it okay to apply for the tourist visa while waiting for my ILR decision? Will it not affect my ILR application? My current UK visa is valid until May 2023.

No effect on your ILR application.

don’t visit Japan before the decision of the ILR application.
