Does time on a dependent visa qualify for ILR?

Hello,

My wife joined me in the UK in Janauary 2018 on a dependent visa (I was on a Tier 2 at the time). Later on in July 2018 she went back home and applied for her own Tier 2 visa from outside the UK.

Do you know if those 6-7 months on dependent visa would qualify for continuous residence for ILR purposes? I tried to find an answer in the HO guidance but I could not find any.

Many thanks.

You can't combine Tier 2 and dependent visas anyway (dependents have their own category to get to ILR - PBS dependent).

unless you're applying via 10 year route (and even then depending on the time limits spent outside UK), which is not the case here; just so people won't get confused finding this thread later.
