Asking on behalf of my friend.

Her bio appointment has been cancelled just before an hour. She took time off from work also arranged child minder for kids and hire taxi to travel.
Is there anything can done to compensate?or something complain? They are not giving reasonable notice.

This appointment was booked 28 days before; now new appointment is for 2 March next month. Not even offering closing date.

Is that mean her standard service decision going too late?

We are writing to tell you that you will not be able to attend your booked UKVCAS appointment.

This is because we have had to temporarily close our LOCATION NAME due to an unexpected issue.

Nothing friend can claim. These things happen and have happened to many people.

Lodge a complaint.

Atleast minimum they can offer appointment within week not like after a month.


Do you know if the clock start for her decision after her bio or the day she paid the fee?

I'd they are closed for a few days due an issues, there are many people they would have had to rebook

Date of application is the date she applied online and paid the fee.

Is this possible to cancel her application and re-apply for priory services?

Will she get refund ?

Yes, provided her visa is still valid.

Note that priority is a ukvi service and it still won't guarantee an earlier biometric appointment or a quick decision.

Refunds can take a few weeks
