identified error on Tier 2 ILR Application Post Biometric Appointment

Hi Everyone, I have just applied for indefinite leave to remain and had my biometric appointment on Monday (priority application). I was just re-looking over my application today and I realised that the category of Tier 2 was incorrect! It still is Tier 2, but instead of Tier 2 General Skilled worker I accidentally selected Tier 2 Religion Minister. I am freaking out and don't know what to do. I have tried to find an email to contact them as I haven't received a decision yet but I am not sure I contacted the right email or how to edit the application. I don't know how I made such a silly error - even after reviewing it multiple times. Any support or guidance would be great. Thanks so much!

This is a minor issue. All those categories use the same form. As long as you applied using form SET(O) your ILR will be considered

Thanks for the response! Was this the correct email to alert them of the mistake:
ApplyOnlineE-Support@homeoffice.gov.uk
Also will this affect the priority aspect of the application? I have travel booked in 3 weeks and am worried if it will delay the result?

It should have no effect. Note that priority visa processing service is not a guaranteed service at all

Hi Zimba,
Thanks again for your help. Of course, understood. Was that email the correct email to notify them? I called again and now they have told me that I need to send a letter and that email isn't monitored. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to make sure I rectify the issue swiftly and correctly.

I do not know what emails should be used. As far as I know, there is no direct way to contact UKVI caseworkers or teams. The UKVI often gets back to you if they notice an issue with your application

Hi Zimba,
I have just received the below email:
Thank you for your application for permission to stay in the UK.
Although we would normally decide your application within 5 working days from the date you submitted biometrics, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
This is because we require further information from you
You have applied for Settlement under the Minister of Religion Route. Our records show that you have not been granted any permissions as a Minister of Religion before.
If you have applied under an incorrect category, you will need to submit a new application and biometrics under the correct visa category. We can then void this application and refund any excess fees paid as per our variation refund policy.
Please respond with your intentions within 10 working days to
worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference and submit a new application as soon as possible where applicable.
The Data Protection Act 2018 governs how we use personal data. For details of how we will use your personal information and who we may share it with please see our Privacy Notice for the Border, Immigration and Citizenship system at
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... itizenship. This also explains your key rights under the Act, how you can access your personal information and how to complain if you have concerns.
Any advice? it looks like I will loose my application fee and have to reapply....

I think UKVI is being inflexible but the mistake has happened. Then you must re-apply using form SET(O) and let them know that you reapplied. You may or may not get a refund:
Immigration and nationality refunds policy
Process to request a refund for services relating to an immigration application or service

Hi zimba. thanks for your advice. I have just done that and paid for super-priority so hopefully, I will get it all done in the next week.
While I have you, is it a problem that on my current payslip it is more than what my letter from my employer states as the past few months I have taken on additional responsibility but it is not part of my main salaried amount? on the payslip it has one line that says: Salary (and the amount that is in the letter and on my application) and then another line that says Salary again with the additional payment.
Since I am reapplying, is it worth me to include this in a cover letter explaining that the additional salary line is for additional work or since it is already above the required rate is it worth noting? The only reason I am asking about this is that it says "Salary" twice as opposed to overtime, bonus or commission which I guess is more typical of a line on a payslip instead of on their twice.

Sure you may clarify this but should have no effect on ILR
