Query on providing additional documents of super priority service

Hi All,
I'm currently on the Tier 2 work visa and I have been with the same employer for the past 5 years.
I submitted my application on the 14th Feb and went for my biometrics on 28th Feb with the super priority service. I got a letter about 3 hours later from the home office saying they have not received the letter from my employer and that my payslip is not legible

. I puzzled as to why they are requesting the letter from my employer when it was sent to them via the UKCAS portal.
Anyway, I sent the documents back to them as requested within 30min.
My main query is will my application be still considered as a super priority? I also urgently need to travel, hence is it advisable to withdraw my current application?
Thanks.

Priority service is NOT a guaranteed service.
You must NOT plan travels unless you get your BRP. BRP can take even a few weeks to arrive

I don't think I can wait that long. It is urgent family matter. So would withdrawing the application and then reapply at later one be advisable? I'm concerned this may influence my track record with the home office.

Is it very rare though that the home house asking obvious documents which were submitted already with the application? I’ve looked through the panel and only found one similar case. If my super priority is no longer a priority should I start counting the days of my waiting period from the time the additional documents were sent to them?

Is the fact that HO is requesting for more information about my application a bad sign? Pushing my application decision back to an indefinite date?

No, could be due to documents not received correctly or not at all after you uploaded or illegible document as you were informed.
CW will not IMHO deliberately seek to perpetuate an application.

Thanks for your reply. I have another query though. I worked for 2 weeks abroad remotely with my current employer but I'm had a hard time to get my employer to include that in my letter to the home office. I only submitted a separate approval letter which allows me work remotely. Do you think that could be potentially be an issue with the Home Office?

Do not make assumptions. They told you that the payslip submitted is not good enough. What was the date on that payslip or the employer letter ? They need to be within 30 days of the application date

The payslip was dated 28th Feb and that was the day I went for my biometrics.

You may have to send them the previous payslip too. The document requirements are often based on the date of the application and your payslip date is after that

I thought about that when I was replying to them and included the bank statement which shows my salary income in January. That was what they actually asked for in their email requesting more documents. In addition to that I also included pay slip for the past 6 month.

Zimba, thanks very much for your reply. I have one more question. If say the Home Office have doubts about my time spent remote working would they contact me again?

That is not their concern. They do not care about that as there is nothing wrong with it.
