SET (M) 5 years completed but BRP valid, should I apply?

Hi,

I am applying under spouse SET (M) category. My current BRP expires at the end of April but I have already completed 5 years residence as my extension was during the pandemic and the visa got delayed in processing. So I ended up getting 4 months extra on the BRP.

My question is if I can go ahead and apply for the ILR as my 5 years continuous residence is complete.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Bhav

Yes. You don't have to wait for your BRP to end if you fulfil ILR criteria.

Your visa expiry has nothing to do with ILR. You apply for ILR when you are eligible
