Hi everyone . I will appreciate replies especially when based on personal experience .
I will be eligible to apply for ILR next month however my wife and children who came to the UK 16 months after me will be eligible to apply in August 2024. All over the last few years i was on Tier 2 ( Healthcare worker) and they were dependent on same visa ( Healthcare worker ). We needed to renew our visas on yearly basis in September time . My question is : if i apply for ILR next month and get it soon through priority service then apply for them as ILR dependent PBS visa , Does this mean resetting of their ILR clock as they changed their visa ?? and if this is true, shall i delay my ILR application and ask my employer to issue me another COS certificate so we all can apply through the same route of health care worker visa OR i can still apply for my ILR and use the number of last COS issued to me in July 2022 to apply for their visa ??

Thanks a lot

You were advised in January this year that once you get ILR, they continue to extend their pbs dependent visas which will be a 3 year extension

indefinite-leave-to-remain/pbs-dependen ... l#p2100399

Their clock will only reset if they switch to FLR M visa category, which is not what they will do.

I definitely mixed between the PBS and FLR M sorry .
But how can i apply for my dependents for PBS dependent after i get my ILR while i don’t have a new COS from employer . Can i use the same COS ( from last year) again for their application ?

If you're on ILR, you won't need a COS, so yes, go with your old one (or leave it blank if you can).

You don't need a new CoS. Simply put in the last CoS details you had. Your dependents are dependent on YOU, not your visa sponsoring employer.
