Biometric appointment between payslip and bank statement

Set(m)
This question is regarding the bank statements which need to be sumbitted as part of the financial evidence to show that the pay on the payslips is going into the bank account for the last 6 months.

My biometric date is inbetween my payday (and payslip date) and when I get my bank account statement.

I guess I need to head down to a branch to get them to print and stamp the last month, right? Just sanity checking.

Also, while I'm there can I get them to just print all deposits to my account for the last 6 months? Would that single printout be acceptable to HO? That would save me a ton of scanning!

Cheers

Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date you apply online, which is the application date. The biometric appointment is irrelevant to this.

You need complete monthly bank statements, not just 'deposits to your account on a single sheet'. Why not simply download online bank statement, they are accepted.

Thank you, this helps a lot for the original question!

I did initially get the online statements, however...

From the guidance Appendix 1.7: Financial requirement https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ly-members page 11:
Bank statements must be on official bank stationery. Alternatively, electronic bank
statements can also be accepted for all bank accounts (the account itself does not
have to be exclusively online) as long as they are either accompanied by a letter
from the bank on its headed stationery confirming that the documents are authentic
or which bear the official stamp of the issuing bank on every page.
So wouldn't I have to go to the bank to get such a letter if I used online statements?

If they look the same as what you would have received by post, then no you do not need a letter or bank stamp.

Sadly they are a different format to what I receive by post. Time to fire up the scanner!

Thanks for your input.

If they contact all the information (bank details, your details and all transactions etc) in pdf format, they will be accepted.
