Anybody applied SET (O) Standard in June 2023

Hi
Just want to know if anyone applied SET (O) Standard in June 2023
I applied on 3-June-2023 and attended biometrics 12-June-2023
please excuse me - this is a curiosity enquiry, to know if anyone approximately applied around those dates have got ILR?

There is a timeline only topic you can keep an eye on (no questions there). We do not need a general topic for every query on the date someone has applied.

Standard applications can take between 8 weeks and 6 months!!

Hi
I've applied for Set (O) ILR application8 weeks back via Standard. I should have taken Priority/Super Priority. Unfortunately have important situation now to visit India in a week/two.
can you advise how can I overcome this?
can I apply a new application, still be covered under 3C? I hope my current application will be voided and fee reimbursed (if not its bad fate, np)

Withdrawing and applying again will render you an overstayer if you no longer have a valid visa.

I will apply again, quoting the current application as reference - I thought that wont put me as overstayer ( I assumed), as the situation in 2 or 3 weeks I may need to travel - hence seeking advices please

It is not about assumptions. I suggest not withdrawing and simply applying again.

sure Zimba, I wont but very important requirement for me to visit India in 2 to 3 weeks time (not emergency situation). I feel so unhappy that I didn't opt for priority though it was available.
Can you please advise how can I overcome this situation?

There is no way to overcome this as far as I know. Apply again and try to book a super priority appointment. There are no guarantees that you can get a one-day decision either even if you use the super priority.

Thanks Zimba, I will wait for another week and apply again hoping super priority stay as option.
Also does that void my current application and fee reimbursed?

hi is this 8 weeks to 6 months - from the date of application or biometrics date?

do you mean by the time they open my super priority application if my standard application is started looking in, I wont get refund. But they if they've not touched it by then I may get a refund>

Read the links provided. Withdrawing or varying an application may not lead to a refund. If you apply again and the UKVI withdraws your previous application, it may have the same effect

Normally a refund will not be given if an application is withdrawn after biometrics were provided. That's stated on the links posted above.

Thanks lolo2, I think I am in 7th Week then. I will wait for a week more before deciding further

Remember that the timeframe given is indicative and for ILR standard application the window is very wide, it doesn't mean that an outcome will be provided in exactly 8 weeks.
You mentioned before that this trip is not urgent (a non-emergency situation), I would suggest to refrain from any international travel - or application withdrawal - until this is complete.

I am really regretting the mistake of not taking priority and £500 of my balance are making fun of me:):)

Is Set (M) processing timelines are different from Set (O)
I hate the fact that Standard applications are left beyond proportion compared to Priority!!

Yes. The teams dealing with different routes are very likely separate

my father is not well
, hospitalized and under care now (not critical, thankfully), but a bit serious. I've been speaking with doctor and he suggest if I can travel in 2 to 3 weeks time to show up to him, which helps for his recovery along with the medication he is undergoing.
I spoke to UKVI contact center few days back. Now I've got an email asking for a letter from the hospital. I requested for the same. Once I have received a soft copy, I will respond back
Can I ask if anyone else gone through this kind of scenario, and what happens next please?
