My child is 20 years and will soon complete 5 years as dependent on my skilled worker visa. The child was below 18 when I first got the skilled worker visa.

I read that for ILR application, it should be proved that the child is still financially dependent on the parents?
So does that mean that the child cannot pursue full time work? and should be studying at some university to be eligible for ILR?

Child dependents do NOT have any min qualifying period for ILR. They will settle when both parents settle. As she is over 18 now, she should meet the language and LIUK requirements and you must prove she is not leading an independent life
