FLR(M) to ILR

Post by talreh20 » Thu Oct 05, 2023 10:29 am

Dear Gurus

My wife and daughter (born in Pakistan) came to the UK in Feb 2016 when I had a Tier 2 Visa.
- Their first visa was PBS-dependent from 09-02-2016 to 25-07-2019. (3 Years 5 Months)
I then switched to ILR (LR 10 years).
- We then applied FLR(M) for both which was valid form 17-09-2019 to 18-03-2022. (2 Years 6 Months)
- We applied to extend FLR(M) for both and that is valid from 06-04-2022 to 08-10-2024. (2 Years 6 Months)

When is the earliest we can apply for ILR for my wife and daughter?

Our 5 years will finish on 17-09-2024 and 28 days before i.e. 20-08-2024, can we apply by this date?

Also, do we still need to show 2 years of Cohabitation documents as we did for FLR(M) X 2?

Thank you in advance.

It is within 28 days of completing 60 months under the family route. Cohabitation evidence is needed

Dear Zimba

As we are less than 10 months away from applying for ILR for my wife and Daughter, I am planning to get things sorted beforehand. I believe the following are needed:

1- 5 Years on FLR(M)
2- Passports
3- BRP
4- Life in the UK for wife only as daughter will be 9 years old next year
5- B1 English Language for wife only
6- Cohabitation documents for two years.
7- Income requirement of £18,600 + £3,400 = £22,000 (probably £38,700 as per yesterday's announcement)
8- Are referees required?
9- Does being in the country matter on the same day of the application date?

Is anything else required? if you can kindly guide me.
