ILR - Dependants Application Query

Hi, I have applied for ILR for myself after completing 5 year (3 yrs on Tier 2 General and 2 Yrs Skilled Worker Visa) and now applying for my dependants and have few queries related to that.

1.) Dependant 1 (Wife) : Application Form for Wife

a) In the question - The person you are joining or accompanying, I'm giving my Name. However, there is another question - Which visa is (my Name) applying for or been granted? - There is no option to select ILR here, I'm hoping i'm selecting Skilled Worker Visa, and giving my VAF number which was printed when Tier 2 General Visa was granted. Or shall i just say no on providing VAF number?

b) In the other documents to be provided, it say that we need to provide "Declaration signed by (My Name not Applicant) to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks. I do not see any form/declaration yet which can be downloaded for me to sign - does it appear after submitting the application? Or I'm doing anything wrong?

2.) Dependant 2 (son) :

My son is born in UK and have been on dependant Visa. His Visa expires on 28th Oct, and i will not receive my BRP (of ILR) by then. Do i need to extend his Visa until I receive my BRP, or I can let his Visa expire and apply for his naturalization once I receive my BRP. I will get decision before his Visa expires but may not receive the BRPs by then. I'm worried if it is ok for his Visa to expire.

Thanks.

1. Her ILR is based on your previous visa status. No need for a VAF number. I think consent forms appear after submission.
Here is the form: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onsent.pdf
She signs part 1, you sign part 2 and ignore part 3

2. His visa expiring has NO effect on his registration. Note that UKVI will ask your wife to explain why she did not include him in your wife's ILR application. That is normal and expected, so do not be alarmed by it when it happens :!:

Hi

I'm in process of uploading documents for my wife's appointment. In the documents to be uploaded - I'm confused with two documents to be uploaded :

* Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on Mr MY NAME for joint accounts or
third party support

* Declaration signed by Mr My NAME to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

I was expecting that Part 2 of Consent Form is needed for first one, and in the second one I was expecting my wife's name rather than mine. Is it normal to not have consent form in the applicant's name (my wife) or I have done something wrong during submission of forms.

Can someone help pls?

They both refer to the same thing, so part 2 of the form. Part one is for her to sign and part two is for you to sign. That's it

Thank you.

In the upload portal, it doesn't say her name, instead it says my name to upload Consent form.
Shall I upload Part 1 signed by her and Part 2 signed by me and upload ignoring the names?

Yes, Part 1 is for her to sign, part two is for you to sign
