I am currently gathering paperwork for my ilr. My husband is director of a company and so we will collect bank statements of business and personal for 22/23 and also everything up to jan 2024.

My question is if I wait to apply late march ( BRP ends on 29th march 2024) and book my biometrics 2-3 weeks after, can we then collect only apr23/march24 bank statements?

Will I also be able to still work whilst waiting for the biometrics appointment or do I have to book that before the current brp ends?

All evidence submitted must be dated before the date of submission. The date of biometrics is irrelevant. If you apply before visa expiry, your visa and its conditions will be automatically extend after the visa expiry until a decision made on your new application (section 3C)
