ILR Application

Hello all,
My wife is in the process of applying for ILR having been on spouse visa for over 5 years now. She sat for Graded Examination in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 5 (CEFR Level B1.1) yesterday and got her provisional result back today.
I would like to ask if Graded Examination in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 5 (CEFR Level B1.1) is the correct test for her ILR application as i wouldn't want us to waste almost £3k on ILR application fee simply because of wrong test.
Your help in clarifying this would be greatly appreciated.

B1 is the correct level for English.
This can then also be used for naturalisation (tick the correct box!).

Many thanks for your response.
So it doesn't matter if it says: Graded Examination in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 5 (CEFR Level B1.1)?
Thank you.

As long as the test was done at a UKVI approved test centre and is on the UKVI approved test list, it is fine.
Unsure what is causing confusion?

Thanks CR001,
The test was done at Trinity College London yesterday 17.02.24. What is causing the confusion is the fact that my wife said the whole test lasted for about 10min and it's different from the way she sat her A1 and A2 test for her spouse visa and extension visa respectively and that's why i was a bit unsure as to whether she has taken the correct test this time around.
The test result read: Your provisional result is AA ( Pass with Distinction) .
Any key areas of improvement that the examiner highlighted from your test will be ticked below. If the boxes are empty, there were no improvements highlighted by the examiner:

She was asked to choose a topic during the test and even the provisional results that was sent to her this morning says GESE provisional result and that the final result will be ready in 4-7 days unlike when she took her A1 and A2 test for her spouse visa and extension.
I'm just a bit curious as i don't want to waste 3k only to then find out it wasn't the correct test as i was expecting them to write B1 on the provisional result rather than GESE provisional result that's all.
Thank you.

This is normal. Nothing to be concerned about.

What you have outlined above is the correct test which is also to be used for naturalisation.

Hello all,
Could you please point me in the right direction as to the correct form to use.
My wife and daughter will be applying for ILR this week as they've been on Spouse and Dependent visa for over 5 years.
I would like to ask which ILR form should they use for their application and if possible a link to the application form.
Thank you.
