A few queries on cash savings, payslips and DLA

Hello,

I am applying for my wife's ILR (Set M) and will be getting ready to submit soon as she'll be nearing the full 5 years -28 days. I have a few questions.

1. I am using my cash savings to meet the financial requirements, which has been held for more than six months over £34,600.

However, on the application it states that we should also submit payslips and a letter from my employer because I answer that I work.

Is it still required to submit payslips and a letter if we're using our cash savings to meet the requirements?

2. Do we need to declare the source of our cash savings? This is not on the list of required documents.

3. I claim disability allowance through our 1 year old daughter. The application states to submit bank statements and a letter confirming DLA, which I will be doing.

How does this affect our application? Does it automatically go through as adequate maintenance?

1. The application form is NOT a full disclosure but the questions are unfortunately phrased that way on the form which causes confusion. If you do not want to rely on income from your work, you should select NO. Otherwise, the application form assumes you want to claim points as an employee and gives you an incorrect document list.

I have been pointing this out to many confused people, just recently: indefinite-leave-to-remain/help-require ... 43141.html

2. You need a declaration by the account holder or holders of the source or sources of the cash savings

3. I suspect you answered some questions similar to (1) and the document list has been affected accordingly You should not need to declare these often

Finances
