Hi,
I'm currently on a refugee leave to remain and will be eligible for ILR in a few months.
My younger sister joined me last year in the UK as my dependent. is she also eligible as my dependent to Apply for ILR at the same time as me?

I assume she joined you as a 'child of a UK-based non-parent relative', she can settle with you.

Thanks for your response.
Yes she did join me as child of a UK-based nonparent relative.
Can we make a join application or will her application be separate from mine?

Hi,
Thanks for confirming.
Just to clarify, the application for her to join me in the UK was made before she turned 18yrs but when this was granted, she was 19yrs old. does that change the circumstance of her application to ILR or like you said previously will she be able to be included under my ILR application and we make same application with her being my dependent?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I have another question please.
I'm just making the application now and at the stage were it says to add another applicant and the is a drop down to select the type pf dependent to add and the two options there is
1) Dependent Child
2) Dependent Partner.
Is the dependent child the better option? bearing in mind the dependent in questions is my sister who is 20 yrs old now.

I repeat again: They are viewed as child dependant and the fact that they are 20 is irrelevant
