ILR Skilled or Global Talent Dependent - help

Hello all,

I am in the process of applying for ILR having been on Tier 2 / Skilled visa for over 5 years now. My spouse switch to global talent from skilled visa after spending around 4 years on skilled / Tier 2. He has settlement (ILR) now, I didn't change my visa as my current skilled visa was valid until 2025.

I am filling Set(O) - ILR form and is confused. For the following question:

"In which category are you applying for indefinite leave to remain"

Logically I should choose "Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant" but the follow up question later on "My Spouse Name current UK immigration status - Which visa is My Spouse Name applying for or been granted?" and I have to select from a combo box which has only Tier 2 related visas. e.g. Tier 2(General) visa, skilled worker visa etc.

My spouse current visa is settlement (ILR) but no option in the list. If I choose skilled worker visa (which I believe is not correct), it ask for "what is My spouse name sponsor licence number? I can provide the sponsor number, but it is correct way?

If I choose Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants for "In which category are you applying for indefinite leave to remain", no additional questions are asked.

Which option should I choose, your help in clarifying this would be greatly appreciated.

You're saying you spent 5 years on Skilled Worker visa, was it as a main visa holder or dependant on your spouse?

Your ILR depends on the route that your spouse used for the grant of ILR. You must choose the Tier 1 Global Talent dependnat route for your ILR. You can hold any dependant visa and still apply as a Global talent dependant for ILR so your current dependant visa type does not matter, as long as your spouse was granted ILR under that route
