I'm currently facing a dilemma and would greatly appreciate any insights or experiences you might have to share. I hold dual citizenship (Lebanese and Dutch) and have recently applied for Indefinite Leave to Remain ILR Route: SET(M) 5 years spouse route in the UK using my Lebanese passport. As many of you might know, the guidance suggests not traveling outside the UK until the ILR application is decided. However, a situation has arisen that may require me to travel.Any advice on navigating this situation, including potential steps to mitigate risks or personal experiences, would be incredibly helpful. I understand the importance of not jeopardizing my ILR application and want to ensure I approach this correctly.

If you leave the UK while you have an application pending, it will be considered withdrawn and you lose your fee paid. If your visa has expired, you will not be able to return to the UK.

If you contact UKVI and have an urgent circumstance (for which you have to provide proof) then they will write to home office to ask them to expedite your case. I called them as I also have a similar circumstance but they said it has to be for a critical/urgent reason.
