Waiting for ILR decision over month need to fly to support family during difficult times

Hello,
I submitted application on 15th January and bio-metric on 28th January. I applied for 5 day priority service. And a day before last 5th day they sent an email on 1st Feb saying:
but recently on 14th Feb my younger brother 37 passed away due to an ongoing illness and when I checked with them UKVI helpline, they said you cannot fly outside UK while the application is in progress. My father said he will take care of the things.
So I spoke to UKVI helpline again and on 15h Shefield Workroutes application asked for bereavement proof , so on 16th Feb I sent them death summary report from the hospital where he was admitted and then on 20th Jan I also sent death certificate issued by the government of India.
I haven't heard anything from the caseworker. My parents are past 65 and my brothers children are 3 year old , we all are devastated and going through a very tough time.
Today is 2nd of March And I have not heard back from UKVI case workers. I have called the helpline 3 times .
how much long can I expect? is this application going though a standard application process times? have anyone ever had been in a situation that they had to expedite the application process? Does expedite process really help?

So the week on wards I learned that if the application is going to take more than the time we can request for withdraw of priority service charges . So I sent them email as per instruction on gov.uk website.Although we would normally decide your application within 5 working days from the date of biometrics, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
I am sorry for the delay in dealing with your application and for the inconvenience this is causing. Please be assured that we are doing all we can to make a decision on your case as quickly as possible.
