ILR application

Hello, looking for any advice or reassurance, although I am fearing the worst and really don't know what to do.

My wife and I have been completing her application for ILR on the 5 year spouse route. Her BRP expires on the 10/04/24, so have been waiting to complete the application during the 28 day window. We have just noticed that her BRP was issued in September 2021 and is expiring in April 24, so its 31 months, but its actually 32.5 months since her last visa expiry date. I can't find anywhere online that suggests a visa would be issued for this length. We are now terrified that she has overstayed her visa and the BRP date is incorrect. We have submitted the application as planned, and she has her biometric appointment on the 5th of April. Is this something anyone has experience with? Should we have submitted the application as normal or should we have contact the UK visa office for clarification?(Says it can take up to 30 days for a response). Or is there anything else we should do. It's going to a tortuous wait.

Thanks for any advice.

This can be accounted for by the time between when you submitted Las application and when new extension was granted.
Within the period she us covered by Section 3C of UK Immigration Act of 1971.

Hi AmazonianX, thanks for your response. So her current visa is valid from the issue date, and not from the expiry date of the previous visa?
