ILR SET(M) - Proof of Residence Documentation

Hello,
I am due to apply for ILR SET(M) in approximately 1.5 year's time. My husband and I looking to move in with friends who own their home in London - this would mean that the bills at the residence would not be in our names as they currently have been for the last 4-ish years.
My question is: How many pieces of evidence of joint living are required, and how many sources do they need to be from? At this point my concern would be that the only pieces of evidence in our name both at the same address would be our phone bills and bank statements. There is a possibility we could come up with a contract but as they are friends this is not a given.
If we explain our situation, would there be some leniency on the part of the HO for this section? We pass all other requirements with flying colors.
Many thanks,
L

You need at least 3 sources, in both names, or 6 sources if in individual names, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months covering two years prior to date of application. Any evidence can be used. It does not have to be only utility bills.

There is no such thing as leniency. You either meet the requirements or you don't, and proving subsisting relationship with 2 years cohabitation evidence is a requirement as stated in the rules.

You could also use NHS, DVLA (drivers license has to change to reflect new address), if both working notify your office and P60 would change. Basically, change as much as you can. Every little helps.

ILR SET(M) - Proof of Residency

Hello,
I am soon due to apply for ILR SET(M). My husband and I live in a rented flat which currently is only listed under my name in the tenancy agreement. We have full proof of cohabitation (at least 3 sources, in both names, or 6 sources if in individual names, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months covering two years prior to date of application). I am wondering if I need to request a letter from the landlord which states that we both have permission to live at this address, or if this is an unnecessary step.
Many thanks in advance!

This is not required.
ILR SET(M) - Time Spent Outside of UK

Hello,
I am completing my ILR SET(M) form, and I am in the section which asks, "Since you have started living in the UK have you spent time outside of the UK?" and "Where did you spend time outside the UK for more than 2 weeks? Do not include holidays of 2 weeks or less. Include any periods of time you have spent on the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey."
I know that ILR stipulates that "No more than 180 days’ absences are allowed in a consecutive 12-month period." I also see "Short visits outside the UK on weekends or other non-working days are consistent with the basis of stay and do not break the continuity of leave. You must count such absences towards the 180 day limit."
I do come within that 180 days' allowance and have done the calculations myself to ensure that, but how do I prove that to the Home Office if there is no section to write absences from the UK of 2 weeks or less?
Thanks!
L

1. Please keep all your questions about the same application in one topic, this one. Topics merged.
2. There is NO '180 days' absence limit for spouse visa holders. This rules applies to a completely different visa route and not Set(M).
