Hello

I have got an ILR in Oct2023 and I have to apply for ILR for my spounse and a dependant son(10 year old) and a 18 year old daughter. All 3 of them will be comleting continuous 5 year in UK coming March 2014.
Which route I have to apply for my spouse and son as they are dependant on me.

My dauther is 18+ but she doesnt leave her life independently and leaving with me. She has completed A level and will be joining university from Sept 2024. She is part time employer. She took a gap year after her A level result as she was not considered as home student being on skilled worker depenedant and an adult.
What are the documents she needs to provide for ILR that she is leaving with the parents?
Does she need to wait until my wife gets ILR or being adult she can file ILR on its own?

        Thank you

Children do NOT have a qualifying period, they settle when both parents settle. For the 18+, she has to apply using her own application and provide any document that shows she still relies on you for support. E.g Documents showing she lives at home with you, she gets finical help from her parents, etc

My daughter(18+) does part time job would that cause any issue. My son who is under 18 will get settle automatically when parents get settled. I believe I still need to apply for him on govement site, please correct me if I am wrong.

Where a child has turned 18 years of age since the applicant was first granted entry
clearance or leave to remain as a parent under Appendix FM, the child must not
have formed an independent family unit or be leading an independent life.

‘Must not be leading an independent life’ or ‘is not leading an independent life’
means that the applicant does not have a partner (as defined in paragraph GEN.1.2.
of Appendix FM), is living with their parents (except where they are at boarding
school, college or university as part of their full-time education), is not employed
fulltime (unless aged 18 years or over), is wholly or mainly dependent upon their
parents for financial support (unless aged 18 years or over), and is wholly or mainly
dependent upon their parents for emotional support.
This is set out in paragraph 6 of the Immigration Rules.
        https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... tances.pdf

So having a part-time job on its own is not a disqualifier. The under 18 can be included in spouse's application

For children, settlement is concurrent with parents. If your 18+ child relies on you, ensure her application reflects dependency through documents like living arrangements and financial support, reinforcing her settlement case.

        Thank you All.

Bit confused with what mentioned over here on Govt web site.
        https://www.gov.uk/indefinite-leave-to- ... ly-members

        Children 18 and over
You can only include older children in your application if they both:

were under 18 when they first got permission to be in the UK as your dependant
still do not live an independent life - for example, they have not got married or had children
        They also need to:

pass the Life in the UK Test
        meet the English language requirements

My daughter was under 18 when she got permission to be in the UK and still live dependant on us. She has passed Life in the UK and English language test. But I am confused whether to apply separate Set(O) application or add in the same application of my spouse Set(F) application

What route did you get ILR?
What are your family members categories now?

add in the same application of my spouse Set(F) application
Also, assuming this is just a typo, your spouse does NOT apply on Set(F).

Hello, I have now created separate application for my daughter and spouse. How do I link them? or is there any need to link them?

Can I use question below to link both the application?

Do you currently have an application with the Home Office for leave to remain for which you have not yet received a decision?

You do not need to link anything. UKVI knows what is going on

Letter from School/College that she was studying between this period
          NHS Patient History
Council Letter Confirming voting details with address

Does she needs to add below documents
        • Bank statements
          Salary Slips
          Job Contact documents
        to the application.

        Can someone please help?
