Incorrect VISA type for ILR application

Hi
While applying for ILR I have mistakely completd the application under type of VISA ' Settlement to private Life' instead of Tier 2/Skilled VISa

The Application is paid for and submitted. Having realised the mistake made i didn't proceeded with the biometric appointment

Can someone on the forum help with next corrective steps?
Do i move ahead with varying the application i.e. Apply a new application for ILR with correct VISA category, provide reference of the previously submitted Application or Cancel the current submitted application first and then apply a fresh one? The issue with cancelling the application is that on the cancelation forum it states to use the form if applicant wants to cancel and leave UK, which is not correct in my case

Given I have not yet gone for biometrics, if i vary the application, i should be able to get the refund of the previously paid fee as well

Any help/advise on the matter is much apreciated

thanks

Yes, you should apply again using the correct form SET(O) which will vary the old one. You will get a refund later on

Hi there
This is an update on my case. Got the ILR case approved
Thank you for the clarification once again

Probably the final bit to ask is - how do i got about for the refund of the prior application which I filed? I am asuming the refund just doesn't get triggered by itself and i'll have to request for it? Any thoughts?

Thanks

I got my new resident card today - Quick question: it doesn't have NI Number on the back. Should that be the case?

Ilr brps don't have the NI number on. That is specific only to skilled worker visas.
