Police NPW

Please someone help .
I'm an healthcare worker and a service user make a false accusation that I assaulted him by punching him, whereas, he was the one that punched me and I have got a bleed on my ear .
I also made a complaint to the police with evidence and the police ask me if I would like a press a charge and I said NO .
The service user insisted that he would like to press a charge and the police email me that I might be invited to the police station to be interview under caution .
After few days, the police send an email to me that the case does not require an interview after that have reviewed it .
And the case does not meet the threshold to look towards prosecution. This means, unless any new evidence were to come to light, the matter is not proceeded with (NPW) and therefore closed down.
I'll be applying for my ILR in 6 month . Do you think that might affect me at all ? Please someone should help .
