ILR under Global Talent route - Partner applying separately

Hi,

I have got my ILR under the Global Talent route. Now, my partner is applying separately for ILR under the Global Talent route as my dependant.

Is the category in which she needs to apply for ILR "Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants"?

I am asking the question because when choosing "apply separately at a later date" we get to "Apply as a partner (dependant on a work visa)"! Please, can anyone advise?

Thanks Zimba.

Do you mean that "Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants" is the correct category?

Once the application is filled in, is it normal that the list of documents required contains only:
  • Passport
  • Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on XXX for joint accounts or third party support
  • Evidence of XXX's immigration status in the UK
  • Declaration signed by XXX to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
  • Current Biometric Residence Permit for XXX
  • All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK
?

Thanks Zimba.

Does it mean that those documents are enough? Don't we need to add evidence of financial support from the sponsor? Evidence of accommodation? etc ...

Thanks Zimba.

Just to remove uncertainty, is your answer "No" for "Don't we need to add evidence of financial support from the sponsor? Evidence of accommodation? etc ..." or for "Does it mean that those documents are enough?"

No such documents are needed. UKVI will ask for any extra documents if needed

Hi Zimba,

Can IHS fee reimbursed if an ILR is granted and the current leave still valid for the next 2 years? In other words, can an applicant claim 2 yeas of IHS fee if ILR is granted?

Ihs is not refunded if you get ilr. This is clearly stated on the official website.

https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... on/refunds
You will not get a refund if:

your visa application is successful but you do not come to the UK
you leave the UK before your visa ends, for example to make a new application
you’re told to leave the UK before your visa expires
you’re applying for indefinite leave to remain
