Dear Forum Members,

I am about to reach 5 years of qualification time for ILR under my Tier 2/ Skilled Worker visa. The UKVI website stated that I can apply 28 days before my 5-year qualified period. As I applied for my T2 visa within the UK, should I reference the day I get the decision letter or the start date on my BRP?

Many thanks for your kind help.

Best regards,

Jing

The earliest date of visa approval can be used as the starting point.

Thank you! I checked my e-visa today, and it stated my current T2 was valid from 25/06/2019. Thus, I believe I can apply 28 days before 25/06/2024.
