Hi If some once can please urgently help us. Me and my wife applied for an
ILR we have not included our children born in UK considering we will get
ILR before Children VISA expired.
We have received query from Home office on 15-May-2024 what are our
intentions for Children VISA as their visa is due to expire on 16-May-2024.
We have replied that we will apply for Registration as they are born in UK
once we receive ILR.
However we have not received ILR but Children Visa Expired.
Can home office refuse our ILR on the basis that our children Visa has
expired and we have not made new application for them? If yes then what
should be the next course of action.
Or what is best advise please help us urgently

The correct response is what you have provided.
Your application will not be refused because of this; to what end if it jeopardises the standings of the children they are to safeguard.

Thanks for the response. Our children are born in UK my son is July 2016(nearly 8 year) and Daughter on March 2021(3 year). I understand from the response that it will not impact our ILR Decision on applications.
Although we have provided our intentions towards children to home office stating that once we get ILR we will apply for their registration we have given birth cert to them as well in previous query.
Can Home office further query and ask us to file ILR for Children as well?
For remedial purpose can I file ILR for my son as he is more than 7 Year in UK?
Please advise as we were thinking that once we both get ILR we will apply for registration, can this impact my children application for citizenship because of their visa expired.

You will face no issues whatsoever, so relax as you do not need to take any further actions. Children's visa status has no effect on their entitlement to British citizenship at all
