Hi,

I believe this question might have been answered already, I've tried searching and not found a response. So putting dates in to provide the date when is the ILR eligibility as I see on searches as whatever date is earliest. So would need help on the below.

I am currently on ILR through 5 year route, my spouse and child are currently on Tier2 dependent visa which is valid till January 2025.

Question 1:
Eligibility DATE FOR ILR Application
Passport Vignette Dates: 17/7/2019-16/8/2019
Date of Entry in UK: 9/8/2019
BRP Card Date of Issue: 24/7/2019

Would she be eligible for ILR application from:
Based on Passport Vignette Dates:18/6/2024
Based on Date of Entry in UK: 10/7/2024
Based on BRP Card Date of Issue: 25/6/2024

Thanks

Jumbo

As you identified from your searches, being SET O, it is the earliest date that you will use.
Their eligibility will be 28days before completing 5years in UK

Thank you for your response.

So is it 28 days from entry in the UK?

Based on the dates provided in the question trail will it be 10/7/2024 as their entry in UK is 9/8/2019.

Would appreciate if you could help with the dates provided as the eligibility date. As the earliest date can be from BRP as well...

Thanks

The earliest is passport vignette issue date I.e. 17/7/2019, therefore eligible to apply from 19/06/2024.
It is your choice whichever date you decide to use, I have responded to your question on earliest date to apply.

ILR - English Language Requirement

Hi,

I've got two questions relating to the application of ILR for my dependent spouse as I've already received my ILR:

1. Does my spouse need to prove her English language skill by means of an exam (IELTS) or prove that the language of study was in English as my spouse has completed her Masters from the US from a reputed university. If she does need to prove her English language proficiency what is the easiest and best way to do it.

2. Additionally, which form does my spouse and child need to apply for ILR when I already have an ILR.

Thanks

Jumbo
