ILR Application for the 2nd time?

Hi,

Appologies if this maybe moot, but i would like to get a general sense of what i need to do. Ive submitted my ILR application below with the following timelines. However im wondering maybe the time i submitted was a fluke and there was an IT glitch somewhere and now its taking some time.

So i was wondering if Im able to submit a 2nd ILR application with the similar items and use a super priority service instead.

Q1. Is this the right move or should i just continue to wait?
Q2. Is sending a 2nd ILR application possible?
Q2. Can I possibly get a refund on the first one if the 2nd one is successful?

1st ILR Application details.
Applied for ILR Route: SET(O) skilled worker Main Applicant 5 years
Application Type: Priority
Application submitted online: 15 May 2024
Biometrics appointment: 20 May 2024
Acknowledgement Received: 20th of May from UKVCAS but I didnt get anything via email or text from the UKVI.
Additional information required: NA
Approval Received: Pending
BRP Card Received: Pending

I did call earlier the UKVI call center on the 28th of May but was ask to call back on the 6th of June as they wont be able to do anything about it. I then called the UKVI contact center on the 6th of June and also emailed and logged a complaint using their form on the 7th of June. I received an email from the UKVI contact center on the 11th of June that the proper team has been notified but havent heard anything since.

It's been 3+ weeks now since i did the biometrics, Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Good luck everyone

You can not have 2 applications running at the same time.
Submitting afresh does not mean decision for newest or most recent would be faster. If this loophole existed I bet applicants will if required take loans to scale the hurdle.
Exercise patience for outcome, you can reclaim your rpriority fee.

It's worth noting that UKVI generally don't provide progress updates for most applications, unless they contact you for clarification or further documents.

If not refunded automatically, lodge a complaint to reclaim it.

Hi AmazonianX and alterhase58,

I just wanted to circle back to this topic and to close it.

Thanks for all your comments below. Ive now got my BRP yesterday and just had to wait it out in the end. :D

If the refund comes through then great if not, Ill just leave it to fate i guess.

Thanks
