Job change after submission

Hello everyone

I would like to first thank everyone for the help in advance.

I'm on a 5year route (spouse visa) expiring on Sept 24th 2024.

I have a couple of questions please

1. I have been offered my dream job after years of hard work. Unfortunately this offer is by another company. Now I'm planning to submit my visa application on the 26th of August, the new company starts on the 9th of September and my current visa expires on the 24th of September.

At the time of application I will still be with my current company but 2 weeks after the visa application I will be with the new company.

My question is do I have to declare change of employer to the home office tho I will be with my current employer at the time of application?

2. New employer has requested two things after the visa has expired for me to continue training. One is that I need to prove i can still continue to work while the application is in process and the other is I have actually applied for my ILR and is in process.

Also if someone can send me a link to a detailed information on all necessary documents for a 5 year route ILR would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

My question is do I have to declare change of employer to the home office tho I will be with my current employer at the time of application? You are on spouse visa so there is no requirement for employer letter to state you are required for the foreseeable future and you will apply based on situation at time of application submission(even though in not too distant time you will change employer). T

2. New employer has requested two things after the visa has expired for me to continue training. One is that I need to prove i can still continue to work while the application is in process and the other is I have actually applied for my ILR and is in process. Get details on what Section 3C of the Immigration Act 1971 states ready to meet this requirement. The acknowledgement of your application submission from UKVCAS, biometri appointment etc.

Also if someone can send me a link to a detailed information on all necessary documents for a 5 year route ILR would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

The facts of the application under family route must be correct on the date you submit your application, not afterwards. So change of employer after visa submission is not an issue.

Thank you very much everyone for the reply. I really put me at ease.

Is there a link in the group where all the necessary documents for ILR (5 year route) can be found please?

Thanks ever so much!
