Disabled badge and ILR

Hi one of my friend is confused about ILR and the Disabled badge
He is on a work permit for the last three years only two years left to apply for ILR, and he is suffering from some health problem due to which he wants to apply and make a disabled badge . if he gets a Disabled badge will it be any problem with ILR application? Please guide

If he is not claiming any prohibited public funds and his disability does not prevent him from meeting requirements for ILR at that time, then I think he should be okay.

Only the benefits and services listed in s115 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 and in paragraph 6 of the Immigration Rules are classed as public funds for immigration purposes which restricts access to mainstream benefits such as universal credit, housing benefit and child benefit. So it is very well defined and even mainstream public services like early education and childcare are NOT classed as public funds.

Note that a publicly funded scheme, service or program is NOT automatically classed as public funds for immigration purposes :!:
