Hi
My wife came to country as student in 2013 and year later she transferred in to Tier-2. I came on her dependent on 2018 and year later on 2019, she applied for her ILR. Now she is A British passport holder. When I apply for ILR on 2024, I got an email from UKVI that I am not eligible. Never been out of country and still how am i not eligible for that?

Did you apply using the wrong form, ie SET M?
What does the email from ukvi state exactly?
If you hold a Skilled Worker dependent visa, you must use form SET O to apply for ilr. Your spouse being British is irrelevant.

Thank you.
Yeah , it should have been Set O but I did under Set M.
now, whole process has to go from scratch or is there any other way?
and also what would be the case of fees with that Biometric centre?
thanks in advance

You need to submit and pay for a new application and I believe do biometrics again (could be corrected here).

Have you still got extant leave? Or have you been offered LTR again? Making a new application would greatly depend on the above.

SET(M) does not lead to an offer of an LTR visa if you are not under the family route. The OP must apply for a new SET(O) application from scratch

What did their email say, exactly?
If they haven’t refused, then
vary the application to
SET(O).
