Hi guys my names Munir this is my first post on here, so forgive any mistakes. I need some advice regarding an application for ILR under 10 yr long residence. Below is our timeline up until now

First spouse visa 5 yr route granted 11/11/14 Arrived in the uk 30/11/14 valid till 11/08/17 First extension on 5 yr route Applied on 15/07/17 granted 04/09/17 visa valid until 31/03/20 5 years completed at this time but didn't apply for ILR because we didn't meet the  English requirements for ILR

Applied for visa extension 18/03/20 visa granted onto 10 year partner route 14/07/20 until 26/01/23

Applied back on to 5yr route on 23/01/23 visa granted back onto 5 yr route on 23/03/23 valid until 26/09/25

November 2024 my wife will have been here for 10 years. She has been within the allowed abscess each yr so no issues there for us. We meet the financial requirements, she's passed the life in the uk test. If she does her B1 English and passes it can we apply for ILR under the 10 yr long residency in December or January 2025. Sorry for the long post I can't wait to get these visas done with. THANK YOU

There is no financial requirement under the belong residence route

For the English test, try the Trinity College London GESE SELT at Level B1, it's a 10minute chat. You can search online for what it is like and try to do it early.

She will be eligible to apply from 02/11/2024 till her current leave expires.

Ok so just the English requirements. As she switched from 5 yr to 10 back to 5 yr spouse this ILR long residence will be ok as she completes 10 years in November 2024? If this is the case I plan on applying in December this yr or early January. Thanks for your help

Yes we did A1 test through trinity college and will do the B1 also.

So even though she switched from 5 yr to 10 yr then back to 5 yr spouse visa were ok for ILR long residency after November 2024?

Yes, the visa route really is not relevant when applying for ILR under the long residence

Yes as ILR LR can combine all eligible route to go for and early ILR application haven switched back and forth between such eligible routes.

Ok and when I go on the long residency application it says if your current leeve is on a spouse visa not to use the form LR, but it has different requirements. Can i just continue with LR application as we meet the requirements of LR?

You can apply under the long residence without any issues. You seem to have incorrectly interpreted the note on the form SET(LR). That note simply says to avoid using form SET(LR) if you intend to apply for ILR under the FAMILY ROUTE rules (i.e. the 10-year FAMILY route) as you should use a different form but you are not doing that !

These are two separate routes
