Hi everyone. As my first BRP was issued on 17 September 2019 I made my application on the 21 August 2024. I thought I met all the requirements. I put 4 years and 10 months for the question of how long have YOU been living in the UK By counting from my first arrival. I am a bit on the fence. In your opinion, Is everything alright? I have a biometric appointment on the 11th of September 2024. Please help me to sort this out.

What visa category route??? Most visas are a 5 year route to ilr!!

ECAA Business Person Visa. 5 years route. I relied on my first BRP which was issued on 17 September 2019. Was I meant to be adding the absences between the first BRP issue date and the first entry as an absence from the UK? Shall I simply mention it in the cover letter or not? Thanks in advance.

The dates you put on the form are fairly irrelevant. The UKVI will use your first visa issue date to calculate all absences. You do not need to add this on the form

Thank you for your reply. I decided not to mention for causing trouble. Simply I tell them I relied on my first BRP to make my online application. They may contact me for further information.
