Hello,
I would like to know if I can apply for the 10 year route in spite of being on ICT Long term (which i understand does not count towards ILR) or alternatively have to apply based on dependent route (which is not my preference)
My spouse came through the Tier1 skilled route from 2012 based on which I received the PBS dependent visa and she is now a British Citizen
Visa From/Date of Issue To
Tier2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant 14 December 2013 30 November 2016
Tier2 ICT Long Term 07 November 2016 12 December 2018
PBS Dependent Leave to Remain 16 March 2018 26 September 2019
PBS Dependent Leave to Remain 08 October 2019 19 September 2022
Dependent Partner Leave to Remain 27 September 2022 31 December 2024

Who told you the time spent Tier 2 ICT does not count under the long residence ?? That is totally incorrect.

Thanks Zimba,
Based on the above confirmation, when I goto to apply for the 10 year route, it mentions the below -
10 year route:
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/set-lr
"If you are the spouse or partner of someone who is settled and currently living in the UK and you have completed the relevant period of continuous leave in the UK using the 'Family Route', you cannot use this form. You must instead apply using the form Apply to settle in the UK - Partner of a person or parent of a child already settled in the UK."
I have been on my wife's visa (PBS and further Dependent visa from Mar 2018), but want to apply for 10 year route starting with my tier2 visa from 2013; so its confusing if I really need to stick with the 5 year route only
5 year route -

Hi Moderators,
For the 10 year route question below, I had travelled out to Jersey twice for 3-4 days of holidays each. Do I need to mention that though there is no passport stamps etc to validate it. I also have spent very less days outside UK do these 3/4 days would not matter if they count/dont count towards the continous stay
Time spent in Crown Dependencies
Have you spent any part of your 10-year continuous period with leave to enter or remain in the Crown Dependencies?
(Required)
The Crown Dependencies are the Isle of Man and the Balliwicks of Jersey and Guernsey

You seem to have incorrectly interpreted the note on the form SET(LR). That note simply says to avoid using form SET(LR) if you intend to apply for ILR under the FAMILY ROUTE rules (i.e. the 10-year FAMILY route) as you should use a different form. However, it does NOT talk about your current visa or tell you that you cannot use SET(LR) if you happen to be on the family route. Under the long residence, your current visa route is irrelevant.

Thanks Zimba
on the 10 year route questionnaire below, I have been on a 3/4 day holiday to Jersey (once while being on Tier2-ICT) and the second time when I was on PBS Dependent leave to remain visa
Do I need to declare/answer yes to the question below, there are no passport stamps etc
"Time spent in Crown Dependencies
Have you spent any part of your 10-year continuous period with leave to enter or remain in the Crown Dependencies?

thanks again!
On the employment question, I was expecting employment history for 10 years, but believe it only asks for the current employment (or any employments being done concurrently and only present). Well, I am with a single private employer for the past 4.5 years which i have recorded, but there was nothing more asked. Hope that is correct unless I need to add that specifically
Are you currently employed or self-employed? answered yes
next question was - is there any other employment currently - answered no
If i go to edit the answers again, it does not ask me whether I want to add a second employment only if tis current

Your employment status is not relevant under the long resident route. What you added is enough
