Tier 2 SOC has error and is different than in ILR application. HELP!

I am currently working in a company who has sponsored me skilled worker VISA. Two years ago, we listed shortage occupation code (2126 - Design and development engineers – all jobs) in SOC for the skilled worker VISA application and it got approved. Now I am eligible for ILR application, and looking for the SOC for my job title, it looked different than that in the previous application and then I realised that we had used shortage occupation code instead of SOC in the previous application which was still a valid code for SOC. But I am doing the same role with the same job title. Now I have submitted the ILR application with the closest SOC - 2134 Programmers and software development professionals) which is obviously different than in the Skilled Worker application. I have my biometric on end of October.

Please can you suggest the measures we (I and the company) can take to make the ILR application successful without any issue due to difference in SOC codes. Please help!!

It seems I am confused just because government's change in SOC code in April 2024. And using the recent SOC that matches my job is right thing to do even if it does not match with my current Tier 2 SOC.
Please if someone can confirm this. Thanks

Yes. The Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes assigned to each role have been simply updated by the UKVI from the 2010 codes to the 2020 codes, so both the old SOC and the new 2020 SOC should effectively refer to the same role. You should use the 2020 SOC to determine your salary requirement for ILR.

All you need to know about salary calculations under the Skilled Worker route
