I am applying for ILR LR. In the application form there’s a section to put the travel details outside the UK along with reason to travel. How elaborate do we have to be whilst providing the reason. If my purpose to travel back home was to apply for a UK visa shall I simply state “To apply for UK visa” or I need to provide more details regarding that. Keep it simple, renew visa, holidays, .......

Another question is regarding the annual earnings. Do I calculate it from payslips from Jan 2023 to Dec 2023? My salary increased in Sept 2023, so annual salary is more but obviously when I calculate from Jan 2023 - Dec 2023 it’ll show less than my present annual salary. Keep it simple, stick with what it would have been before the increment. It makes no difference.

For absences from the UK, only FULL days count, so departure and arrival days are not counted.

Also, note there is no income requirement under SET(LR)

These two are definitely not required. Why would you upload a soft copy of the application when you have submitted online and it will be fully visible to UKVI?

There’s no category for travel history or identity. Any response would be appreciated.

Thank you for the prompt reply that’s really helpful to know. Also could you please confirm if English Language test proof is provided in previous application, do we need to upload the Proof of English document? I’m assuming that’s not required in this case.
