Timeline for demoted super-priority service following missing document?

Hi all,

We received a letter from the Home Office that the family declaration was missing. It appears that the immigration adviser we hired, accidentally uploaded a blank form instead of the completed one. We had paid Super Priority service, and the Home Office email said we are no longer eligible for a refund because they started to look at out case within the next working day. We replied and have now sent the missing form (complicated story, the immigration advisor swears she uploaded the correct form), still shocked of such an error from an immigration professional. But what does it mean for the super-priority? Does it mean now we are on a "normal queue" and that it will take forever to have our application assessed. What timeline would be expected in such circumstances when a Super Priority assessment is demoted?

It often will not take that long but the original timeline will no longer apply.
Also, the refund policy of the UKVI makes it clear that applicants' mistakes that prevent a priority decision mean you will lose your priority fees.

Immigration and nationality refunds policy

Your case highlights something that has been very common over the years. It is the same story of applicants hiring expensive advisors who then give them terrible advice and rubbish service. I have seen many many cases of this on the forum over the years.
