Hi
I have entered the UK in January 2020 on Tier 2 General (Skilled Worker Leave to Remain) VISA.
My wife and son have entered the UK in March 2020 as dependants.

Our current VISA is valid till January 2025 so I will apply for ILR by end of this year.

I am not clear on whether I can apply for my wife and son's ILR at the same time or will they not be eligible as they have entered the UK in March 2020 (not finishing 5 years before March 2025.

Please can someone suggest if there is a way to apply for all the ILRs in same go?

If we have to apply for any Visa extension for the dependants, please can you also suggest what is the best approach as its required only for a couple of months. thank you

The date of entry to the UK is irrelevant. The qualifying period counts from the first visa issue date for all of you. I assume you all got visas together, so you can all apply together

More information: How to apply early and benefit from the date of the ILR decision ?

Hi
I have entered the UK in January 2020 on Tier 2 General (Skilled Worker Leave to Remain) VISA.
My wife and son have entered the UK in March 2020 as dependants but we all applied for UK VISA together. We wanted a later entry date due to young kid at that time but its confusing whether we can all apply for ILR together or they must wait out until March before applying for ILR.

Our current VISA is valid till January 2025 so I am filling my application now to submit in Jan first week.

I am not clear on whether I can apply for my wife and son's ILR at the same time or will they not be eligible as they have entered the UK in March 2020 (not finishing 5 years before March 2025.

Date of issue on my BRP is 7-Jan-2020 and Date of ISsue on first vignette stamp in my passport is 25/Dec/2019
Date of Issue on my wife BRP is 21-Feb-2020 and date of issue on her first vignette stamp in her passport is 06/march/2020.

Please can someone suggest if there is a way to apply for all the ILRs in same go?

If we have to apply for any Visa extension for the dependants, please can you also suggest what is the best approach as its required only for a couple of months. thank you

You asked the same thing in April, so why not read the advice given above ??

Firstly, thank you for response in both queries.

We all applied together however as I've mentioned the BRP issue date is different from the issue date on vignette stamp on passport

I spoke to one of the agents on 03007906268 and they suggested it's the entry date on March that matters and I shouldn't apply for all of us together

Hence I've posted again here with exact dates

I'm thinking I'll apply for my ILR first in January and then apply for dependants in February

But that leaves the dependants without valid visa for a few days between i.e 28th Jan (when all our skilled worker visa expires) and applying around 15th Feb

Could you suggest if there is a way we can apply for exception for this period?

We applied together but I requested the solicitor to keep the dependants entry date to March 2020 as my kid was only 4 months old at that time. But we all applied together in same application with just entry dates different

The UKVI does NOT have any agents to answer your questions and those phone numbers are all manned by third parties that often dishing out incorrect advice.

I repeat again that the date of entry under your route is irrelevant. The qualifying period starts from the very first visa issue date. As I explained in the link above the date of application is not that important, so you should all apply early before visa expiry and there will be no adverse effects. There is no need to confuse yourself.
