hi,
My partner details as follows
VISA issuance date is 12/2/20
BRP issuance is 19/2/20
BRP expiry 27 Dec 24
I am applying ILR via 5 year route this month.
Can my partner apply ILR on 27 Dec 24 and finger prints on 16 Jan 25 (i.e. 28 days from VISA issuance date) so when application is picked up partner would have completed 60 months or if partner needs to expend the visa for 20 days and then apply for ILR.
thanks in advance

Employment GAP of less than 60 days in Tier 2 visa

hi, I am applying for ILR after completing 5 years on tier 2 visa however there was GAP of less than 60 days between 2 employments on tier 2 visa i.e. last day of my employment with previous employer was 18 Nov 21 and start of my new employment was 5 Jan 22. Can this effect my ILR application or do i need to explain this in my application ? I never received any letter from home office re termination of my previous employment.

This is not an issue. Nothing needed to be explained. Don't overthink the process!!

Please stick to this post and do NOT create new posts. Tier 2 route does not exist, it has been the skilled worker route for a few years. The 60 days limit rule was removed many years ago

Also what are the financial requirements for this and what supports can we provide ?
Also do we submit set O form, appreciate if application reference can be shared here
thanks in advance

hi,

I too have same question and people been busy to reply. I will be keeping an eye on this topic if someone replies.

In short my spouse got ILR few years back via TIER2 G route
I am applying for ILR after completing 5 years
I am using SET(O) application.
I see no financial requirement on the application except the 'Not accessing public funds' - NO

with regards to biometrics once your online application is applied before the BRP expiry that should be fine I believe. A third party service is going to take biometrics at a later date, I'm guessing as I am currently filling the SET(O) application now.

Will update any information I gather between these days.

cheers.

SET(O) under skilled worker dependant route
There are no financial requirements for dependants
