Tier 2 Dependent time + Skilled worker

Hi,
I was tier 2 dependent (Skilled worker visa) for 4 years and 9 months, (2017-08/2022) and I worked as a doctor with that visa.
I apply for training (doctor) in 2022 and as my BRP indicated that I could not work as a (doctor-trainee,) I switched to Health care worker visa in 2022 August, with certificate of sponsorship from HEE.
I understand that this change (change from Tier 2 dependent to Healthcare worker visa) reset my time.
Now I have been in the UK, and working continuously for last ~7.5 years in the NHS, it is dissapointing that I have to wait another ~2.5 years (from the time when I have applied for training and get my Healthcare worker visa -(switched from my Tier 2 dependent visa to my wife)
Now my Wife is being a citizen with our children...
Is there another way?
Why can I not combine my days at Tier 2 dependent times, with my own Healthcare worker visa?
