Advice Needed on Completing ILR Set(O) Sponsor Section

Hello everyone,
I’m seeking advice on how to complete the sponsor section of the ILR Set(O) application form. Specifically, the question asks:
“What is your sponsor licence number as shown on your Certificate of Sponsorship?”
While this might be straightforward for most, my situation is a bit more complex. Here’s the context:
• My previous employer (Employer A) issued my latest Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). However, Employer A has undergone a TUPE transfer, and I’m now employed by Employer B, which is also a licensed sponsor.
• After the TUPE transfer, my role and SOC code remained unchanged.
• According to our HR team, they have notified the Home Office about the TUPE transfer, and Employer A is now dormant.
• When I requested a copy of my CoS, I noticed that it still lists Employer A as my sponsor.
Given these circumstances, I have two questions:
A) Should I provide Employer A or Employer B’s details as my sponsor for the ILR application?
B) Is it normal for the CoS to still list Employer A even after the TUPE transfer?
I’d appreciate any guidance or similar experiences from those who’ve navigated this process.
Thank you in advance!

Use the details of the current employer. Your CoS will not change during TUPE so there is nothing abnormal. UKVI knows what is what.

Concern About High-Value Transaction in Bank Statement for ILR Application

Hi, I am currently on a Tier 2 visa and preparing my ILR application. While reviewing my documents, I noticed that the bank statement I plan to submit—which shows the payment of my most recent payslip—also includes a high-value deposit from my father into my account. This was a gift to support me, but the amount is twice that of my payslip.
I’m concerned that the Home Office might view this transaction, which is unrelated to my employment, as an issue and potentially reject my application. Could you please advise whether this transaction might pose a problem during the application process? If so, what steps should I take to ensure it doesn’t negatively affect my application?
Many thanks for your help!

You are overthinking. If you meet ILR conditions the a one off transfer from abroad won't change anything.
ILR Application – Reporting a Same-Day Trip

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of applying for my ILR and noticed that the system does not allow me to submit a same-day trip outside the UK. I had a one-day business trip on 16 November 2023 where I left the UK in the morning, traveled to Spain, and returned back to the UK in the same evening, on 16 November 2023.
Should I enter my return date as the following day, 17 November 2023, and clarify in the notes that the I actual trip occurred on the same day, hence my actual return date is 16 November 2023? Or should I not include this trip in my ILR application at all?
I'm concerned that if I don't report it, the Home Office might see the entry/exit stamps in my passport and question why I did not report this as part of my absences from the UK. I’d appreciate any guidance on the best approach.
Thanks in advance!

That is because only the full days of being away from the UK are considered an absence from the UK and only those are counted. So a same-day trip is NOT considered an absence from the UK and it is not counted. You should not be concerned
