Skilled Worker Visa Extention and ILR query

Hello Immigration Board Members
I am looking for an advise on the below scenario.
Primary applicant.
Skilled Worker Visa Issue Date - 22nd April 2022
Skilled Worker Visa End Date - 16th August 2025
Dependent #1 (Wife):
Dependent Visa Issue Date: 18 July 2022
Dependent Visa End Date: 16th August 2025
Now I am planning to apply 2 Years CoS/Visa; so my next visa will be ending by "16th August 2027"
So for me I can submit my ILR apllication at the earlist by (21 March 2027) and having aprox 4.5 months buffer before my visa gets exipre, however for my wife the earlist ILR submission date would be 19th June 2027; which will give her only 1.5 months of buffer time before my visa gets expire.
NOW, I would like to know if there is any risk with this 2 years of visa extention, or should I go ahead with 2.5 years Visa extention: which will give me addtional10.5 months and for my wife addtional 7.5 months of buffer, but in this case we need to pay addtional IHS fee? In both the scenario we will go with priority service.
Also, I am assuming that ILR apllication can be submitted (first BRP Issue Date + 5 years and then -28 days) and we can get the biometric appointment even post my wife visa expiry?
Please advise if there is any risk and what option should I choose?
Looking forward your kind response/advise. Thanks
