I am on my Skilled worker VISA since January 2022 and will be eligible to apply for ILR on January 2027, however I have been out of UK for maternity so would like to check if I have broken the 180 days rule chain when I become eligible to apply for my ILR in 2027.

I got my skilled worker visa on Jan 2022.

From Feb 27, 2024 - July 27, 2024 (151 days)
From March 1, 2025 - April 14, 2025 (45 days)

If I will become uneligible please advice what would be the alternatives

You cannot have more than 180 days of absence in ANY 365-day period. That is the requirement.
By the look of it, you have NOT failed this requirement.

Thanks for the reply @zimba however the first absence and second absence can have overlapping days when it is for the following 12 month period.

Example :
March 1, 2024 - March 1, 2025
Ie., 151 + 45 = 196 days
Does it mean I have failed the requirement? Please help me to understand how to calculate for the above period

How did you count 196 days between March 2024 and 2025 ??
Based on your dates, that 45-day period of absence is after 1 March 2025.

Yes my initial understanding was to skip the 45 days and was thinking that I am within the 180 days count however got Confused from some misinformation regarding how to calculate the dates.

So to understand let's take another period and the following should be the correct way to calculate?
April 13, 2024 - April 12,2025
106 days + 42 days = 148 days.

What misinformation ?? I am not sure the source of your confusion.
You simply count the number of full days of absence between the start and end date of any continuous 365-day period. If you had more than 180 days or more, then you fail the requirement.
