Previous 5year route denied ILR, put on 10year, can I apply for ILR now I meet the financial requirement

I was put on the 10 year route as I couldn't prove the financial requirement last year for ILR, even though I had completed my 5 years on the 5 year route.

I can now prove the financial requirement but they had put me on the 10 year route last year. Can I now apply for ILR since I had already completed 5 years when I was under the 5 year route previously?

Or will they ask me to switch back to the 5 year route? and does the clock then restart? or will they consider that I already completed 5 years on a previous 5 year route visa? So confused :(

The rules require 60 months of continuous residence under the 5-year route. Any break like moving to the 10-year route is therefore problematic. Hence, proper planning is really crucial. You need to switch back to the 5-year route and complete another 5 years or stay under the 10 year and apply when you have 10 years in total
