Clarification on Earliest ILR Application Date Based on Skilled Worker Visa Timeline

I hope this message finds you well.

I am seeking clarification regarding the earliest possible date I can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) under the Skilled Worker route.

Here is a brief summary of my visa history and employment timeline:

I was previously in the UK on an ICT visa with my employer.

In March 2021, I received a job offer from a new employer and subsequently applied for a Skilled Worker visa.

My Skilled Worker BRP states a start date of 13th March 2021.

I completed my notice period with the previous employer and was released on 26th April 2021.

I joined the new employer on 27th April 2021. though new employer has my joining date as 07th Apr 2021 in contract somehow - not sure ,why.

Given this timeline, I would appreciate your guidance on which date should be considered the official start of my qualifying period for ILR purposes:

13th March 2021 (BRP start date), or

27th April 2021 (actual employment start date with the Skilled Worker sponsor)?

Accordingly, I would also like to confirm whether I can submit my ILR application 28 days before the relevant qualifying date.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The employment start date is irrelevant. Your earliest ILR eligibility date is 13th March 2021 + 5 years - 28 days
