My sincere apologies for starting a new topic if you think its not needed to be.

I have an account my self but could not retrieve password and hence created another account.

I have taken a chance to apply for my daughter ( 12 years) BC application from India and as rightly said by moderators her application has been rejected.
Later we have applied for Indian Passport and able to secure one. Previously I have been suggested by our experts that we should apply for a family Visa (ILE) from India and would like to know the below points
1) The correct form which we need to use for ILE
2) How much is the maintenance funds I need to maintain in our banks for only one dependent (wife and other child are already British (Naturalized), including myself
3) How many days funds needs to be maintained.
4) Salary threshold requirements for the parents to be shown
5) Should we need to pay the health surcharge, if yes may I know how much we need to pay
6) What are next the next steps to secure British Passport after getting ILE.

Please kindly suggest and thanks in advance

Apply for a returning resident visa. She would be granted ILE.

Log on to the form and have a test run. Everything required would be clearer to you.

Hi Ticktack and Experts, I 'have gone through the Return Resident Visa form and able to understand most of the things however I have supplement question not related to the form, please may I know how long the minor applicant needs to be in the UK with ILE to be eligible for British Citizenship? this allows us to plan her future. Thanks.

The child needs to have resided in the UK for at least two years before registration as a British citizen, if the child is applying for British citizenship to be in line with its parents.

Registration of children as British citizens caseworker guidance - Discretionary applications under Section 3(1) wrote: Children applying in line with their parents

You must normally register where:

one parent is a British citizen or about to become one through registration or naturalisation
the other parent (if involved in the child’s life) is a British citizen or settled in the UK
the child has been resident in the UK for the last 2 years - (if the child is under the age of 2 you can accept a shorter residence period, taking into account the age of the child)
the child is settled in the UK
where necessary both parents consent to the registration or any objections by the non-applying parent are ill founded
there is no reason to refuse on character grounds

As for IHS, you will likely be charged an IHS surcharge (not sure of the amount), which should be refunded when the child is issued an ILE.
