Hi,

I would appreciate some advise.

I am endorsed by UKRI and am on a 3 years route to ILR.

I have done alot of travelling during my 3 years period due to research reasons. I am now eligible for ILR but I am not sure how to demonstrate my absences were due to research reasons.

1. Is there a template letter I can use to get it signed by my employers
2. At some places, I read no specific evidence is required, just stating research activity in the application is sufficient, is it true?
3. Does anyone else had a similar situation, yourself or you may know someone, how was it dealt with it?

2. This is the correct answer, no specific evidence is required.

The continuous residence guidance has this provision.
